Labradorite is one of my favorite stones for jewelry. When put into the light and moved around, you can see the blue in the stone - it just shines and I think, is very beautiful. Here's a couple new pieces using labradorite. Although, I do have to admit, I made another set, but....well, to tell the truth I kept it! Sorry! I couldn't help myself. So the last picture is, well, mine.
An extension of myself and my massage business, making jewelry has become a hobby that is therapy for me and now I'd like to share that with all of you!

Finally!
Well - it's finished! Finally! This project was a little frustrating, but I learned some things. There are over 600 small, 4mm beads on this necklace. It didn't turn out quite like I planned, and I decided to leave the heart pendant off and put it on a different necklace (too busy, I decided), but I think the end result is a nice piece.

Frustration!
Sorry, I know I promised to post a picture of this new picture jasper necklace I'm working on, but I haven't been able to finish it! I got to the end connections a couple times and I couldn't make it work! Don't give up on me, though! I've got a new idea and going to head to Hob Lob some time soon! Keep checking back in!

The beading room is busy, busy, busy for the start of the new year! I've inventoried new beads, organized my work space, gone through my inventory, and made plans for new pieces of jewelry. I'm excited about making new pieces and finding new outlets to share my jewelry with the world. I also received a new camera for Christmas, so hopefully, I'll be able to keep better updated pictures here on this blog. Here's a few of the bracelets that are left from last year and a new dark green serpentine set just made today. Look for lots of new pieces to come - all the inventory, new and older, is on display at my massage shop. You are welcome to browse anytime the salon is open - just let me know when you'd like to visit. I am still doing a little bit of custom work - if you would like a certain color or a certain stone - stuff like that. And remember...your clothes won't last as long as your jewelry, so.....purchase jewelry that you love and buy clothing to go with it - not the other way around!
